Regular groundskeeping plays an important part in maintaining the beauty, standards, and quality of life here at Hulon Greene. Part of your monthly HOA regime fee pays for this weekly upkeep. It saves all us the time, effort, and hard work of having to mow, edge, weed-control, blow, and trim shrubbery.
Our groundskeepers normally come on Monday. They may come on Tuesday if it's been raining or storming.
Seasonal applications of weed & feed occur in the spring and autumn. Shrubbery trimming occurs throughout the year as needed. Leaf cleanup begins in mid-to-late fall and usually continues until the first week or two in December. Lawn mowing is discontinued once lawns have gone into dormancy for the winter.
Here are a few important reminders:
Gardeners, please remember, call before you dig: 811. Any planting, rock removal, or removal of plants, flowers, trees or shrubs may damage irrigation or electrical lines for which you will be financially responsible...not to mention the possibility of hurting yourself. We care about you. And it's so easy to schedule. Call 811 or go to sc811.com to set up a convenient date and time.
Going forward, we will make every attempt to keep you apprised of the shrubbery trimming schedule so that you can respond accordingly. And please remember to respect the groundskeeping crew and their hot, hard work on our behalf. Thank you!
